What is the purpose of the Olentangy Boys’ Lacrosse Boosters?
The Boosters are parent volunteers organized to support the OHS lacrosse team. They are a resource to coaches and players and coordinate “off-the-field” activities so coaches can focus on the “on-field” activities. Some of these activities include fundraising coordination, management of website and other social media, end of season banquet, senior recognition. All parents are encouraged to participate and to attend the monthly Booster meetings.
When are the Boosters meetings?
The Booster meetings will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month (most months) at 7:00pm at Olentangy High School in room 1410. Please plan to attend. Your input and assistance is important!

Who pays for the OHS team uniforms and equipment?
The Boosters provide the game jerseys and team gear bags. OHS players need to order and pay for the reversible mesh pinney, shooting shirt, practice shorts, helmet, and gloves if they do not already have them.
What else do the Boosters’ funds provide for the OHS teams?
Team equipment as needed, extra coaches, senior banners, buses for long-distance travel, and team meals while traveling are just a few of examples of what is usually provided.
What are the fundraisers this year?
Our major fundraiser every year is the Father Daughter Dance held in February. We may also have some small fundraisers such as selling 50/50 tickets at a football game, car wash, etc. You and your player’s help will be needed and appreciated.
When and where will the 2019-2020 schedules be posted?
Team rosters, practice schedules, and games are posted on the website. The 2020 schedule is posted as of October 2019. (https://www.leaguelineup.com/olentangybraveslacrosse or olentangybraves.com)
What can I do to help?
Volunteer! Many volunteers are needed to run a successful lacrosse program. Some suggestions include making team dinners, arranging small meals for visiting teams (something like Subway), and sidelines help during the games. We would love to have a volunteer responsible for organizing our volunteers (Parent Volunteer and Networking Chairperson)! Until then, please contact Melanie Hewitt to volunteer or learn more.
