Players will be able to complete a hard copy of the form they can get from their manager, complete it, return it to the manager, who will submit it to a league Executive Committee Officer by Wednesday prior to the third week of Sunday games, or as of Monday prior of the third week of Wednesday games. Players added to a roster after the start of the season have two weeks to submit their form.

Waiver Information

In consideration of the acceptance of my participation in the South Jersey Senior Softball League, I hereby waive and release the League, its agents, team sponsors, league officials and any other parties connected with the League from all actions whatsoever in any manner arising and growing out of my participation in the League. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained in this type of activity.

The League provides insurances both for itself and for all players. That said, players are strongly encouraged to maintain their own health insurance so as to substantially avoid any possible gaps in coverage.

I acknowledge that all players must provide their own liability insurance coverage for any and all damages incurred to another player if such a player is injured as a result of my knowingly using an illegal bat. As stipulated in the League's Rules, an illegal bat in the League is any bat that is composed of titanium and/or does not meet the 1.21 BPF or lower standards, or any softball bat that has been modified in any way in which it deviates from the normal striking power that the manufacturer specified. Bats used in the League must not be tampered with to increase power, increase or decrease length, cut or modified or hollowed out and/or filled with any or all substances that will alter its original composition. Multi-wall bats are legal if they are 1.21 BPF or less. Any bat banned by the Senior Softball Association is also banned by the League.

By signing below I expressly agree that this waiver and release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law and that if any portion of this waiver and release is held to be invalid by a court or other trier of fact, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect.

All SJSSL Players and Managers need to complete & electronically sign the SJSSL Waiver Form. Participation in a game beyond the second week of the season without submitting and electronically signing a waiver will result in forfeiture of game(s) played.

Additionally, by signing below I acknowledge that I have read, consent to and will comply with the SJSSL rules including the code of conduct, as well as the SSUSA rules.

I have read and understood all the provisions contained in this Waiver Form. I understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and I sign it freely and voluntarily.
WAIVER INFORMATION:
After hitting the above submit button you must also hit the Checkout Button on the next page. It is mislabeled as completing a registration, but it is completing the insurance waiver form.
