UYF is currently creating a program that will allow referees to sign up to officiate the games they choose from the schedule. This may require each referee to create thier own accounts. Please contact us at uintahyouthfootball@gmail.com if this will be an issue.

WAIVER INFORMATION
Uintah Youth Football, Inc. is a youth organization, and all decisions made concerning referee staff will be made based on the best interest of the players and league as a whole.
Uintah Youth Football, Inc. is not obligated, to appoint all applicants to the referee staff.
Participation in the Uintah Youth Football, Inc. program is to be considered a privilege, not a right.
I understand that if I am appointed to the referee staff, I will uphold all the rules and regulations of Uintah Youth Football, Inc.
I understand that I am obligated to to disclose referee payments as income.
I understand that any materials provided to me for use during the season are the property of Uintah Youth Football, Inc., and I am responsible for the matter in which they are used.
Player and parent information in rosters is considered confidential and cannot be used or shared outside of the UYF organization unless express written permission has been granted by the Uintah Youth Football Inc., Executive Board of Directors.
Materials containing the UYF logo are the property of Uintah Youth Football, Inc. and cannot be used outside of the organization for any purpose unless express written permission has been granted by the Uintah Youth Football Inc., Executive Board of Directors.

Referee Pay Schedule:
No experience- $15 per game
1 to 3 years Experience- $ 20 per game
4+ years experience- $25 per game
Certified Referees (Must Prove Certification)- $40 per game
Referee Regional Travel- $10 per day (Travel to locations outside of the region you reside in)

I understand if I cannot be on time or attend a game, I will immediatly make contact with a UYF staff member and let them know, so a replacement can be found.
If lateness and no-shows become a trend, I understand that I will be removed from the schedule for the remainder of the season.
In consideration for participating in the activities conducted by Uintah Youth Football, Inc. I release, waive, discharge, covenant, and relinquish any and all action or cause of action against the Uintah Youth Football, Inc. organization, promoters, officials, staff coaches and/or volunteers for personal injury, death, and or property damage. I further release all officials, officers, promoters, staff, coaches, and/or volunteers from any claim whatsoever on account of first aid, treatment or services rendered on my behalf during participation in this organization.
Any intentionally misleading information provided in this form may result in refusal of participation in all Uintah Youth Football, Inc. events for the remainder of the season.
Official Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct for Sports Officials
1. Officials shall bear a great responsibility for engendering public confidence in sports.
2. Officials shall be free of obligation to any interest other than the impartial and fair judging of sports competitions.
3. Officials shall hold and maintain the basic tenets of officiating which include history, integrity, neutrality, respect, sensitivity, professionalism, discretion and tactfulness.
4. Officials shall master both rules of the game and mechanics necessary to enforce the rules, and shall exercise authority in an impartial, firm and controlled manner.
5. Officials shall uphold the honor and dignity of the profession in all interactions with student-athletes, coaches, school administrators, colleagues and the public.
6. Officials shall display and execute superior communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
7. Officials shall recognize that anything which may lead to a conflict of interest, either real or apparent, must be avoided. Gifts, favors, special treatment, privileges, employment or a personal relationship with a school or team which can compromise the perceived impartiality of officiating must be avoided.
8. Officials shall prepare themselves both physically and mentally, shall dress neatly and appropriately, and shall comport themselves in a manner consistent with the high standards of the profession.
9. Officials shall not be party to actions designed to unfairly limit or restrain access to officiating, officiating assignments or to association membership. This includes selection for positions of leadership based upon economic factors, race, creed, color, age, sex, physical handicap, country or national origin.
10. Officials shall be punctual and professional in the fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
11. Officials shall work with each other and their governing bodies in a constructive and cooperative manner.
12. Officials shall resist every temptation and outside pressure to use one’s position as an official to benefit oneself.
13. Officials shall never participate in any form of illegal gambling on sports contest, may never gamble on any sporting event in which they have either a direct or indirect involvement and may never gamble on events involving youth athletics.
14. Officials shall not make false or misleading statements regarding their qualifications, rating, credentials, experience, training or competence.
