Day 1 Results:

4 Wrestlers took the mat:

Kenny Lyles finished in 3rd place and is now a 2X place winner at this tournament good season Kenny finished with 19 Wins which not bad, next year should be the year the Kenny goes the distance.....

Gordie Reilley took the Silver Medal for the second year in a row, and another 19 match winner...........Gordie is a 2X Runner-Up at this tournament and next year should be ready to make some noise at the "A" Tournament championships.........

Jake Tetlow got knocked out but had a close second match, honestly Jake I thought you had turned the corner last year and while sometimes you are there most times your not.....You definetly need some off-season training and if you can't push yourself I will do it for you....... (Jake and i've rode the twins both sets more than you can imagine and beyond what you'd believe someone could take.......both for those that won't push themselves, there needs to be a catalyst)........you sir' are running out of years and you time to shine is upon us........don't let it slip away like so many others.

Gabriel, tough season......but starting out at 70# as a first year kid is a real grind! MOst of the JR League Dominant kids weigh between 65 and 85 lbs......... that's just a fact......... and when you roll in there green as you where it is tough..................I've seen kids not place in those weight classes as middle school kids and then they go on to win HS COUNTY AND REGIONAL TITLES (RYAN PITTILLO Comes to mind right off the bat who is Perry Hall's 189# who is going for his second straight Balto. County Tournament Title.............and RYan never made it to jr. league states......(Of course injuries played a major role in that!
