| The runner is not out if running out of the baseline to avoid interfering with the Fielder. After avoiding the interference, a new running lane has been established. The runner would be out, if running out of the baseline to avoid a tag.

| Allison, Opa umpire is correct.
A runner is declared out for running out of the baseline ONLY if she is avoiding a tag by a fielder with the ball.
