| bases loaded 1 out.Ball hit to f-3 who steps on third for second out. Now two outs. Retired runner at third did not know she was out and stays on third.Nobody including the umpire noticed it. Next ball hit to the pitcher who throws home,catcher tags the sliding runner who was out making the third out. Now the defense team relizes what happened and tells the umpire this runner was out the play before. What should the umpire do.

| can't penalize the defense for the umpires mistake or reward the offense. take the third out at home and move on.

| Cannot get a runner out twice.No harm was done when retired runner was put out,because nobody scored and the inning was over..Because the retired runner drew the throw,the closest runner to home plate is out in this instance.
