a coach asked me if a girl could continue on to third on a walk if she so dared.couldn't find anything in the book to forbid it and told him so. also, was asked by another umpire if a pitcher could be returned to the mound more than once if she never left the game.wasn't sure but it sounded like any other defensive only change so why not. please advise

yes to runner continuing to third on a walk.If pitcher has the ball in the circle and in control of the ball the runner would have to use continuous motinon forward and not stop on either first or second base.
There is no limitations to the number of times a player can return to the pitching position as long as the player is legally in the game.
