Have talked to sevaral coaches. They go to other associations tournaments other than ASA because of the 40ft for 14u.A lot of there 14 year old pitchers are already pitching at 43 ft in high school.40 ft screws up there pitching mechanics. A I stated before go to 43 ft,Not a good decision by ASA.Will make teams not want to come to there tournaments.

I'd love to know the make up the the people representing us who voted for 40'. Who are they, and are any from our area? They are obviously not in touch with the game.

This is just going to increase the slide of teams going over to PONY and USSSA in the SE Pa / S. Jersey area. There hasn't been enough already? ASA is a self-destructing organization, and has only itself to blame for it's slow demise. That's a shame.
