| here it is: 10u game pitcher comes out than back in in the 6th. I find that she is not pausing with the ball in the glove for at least 1 second. she wasn't even pausing. I let her know that she has to pause.(mistake I should have told the coach) a few pitches later I call it. and advise the coach. The pitcher happens to be his daughter who has been through pitching coaching for 3 years. I told him that's what they do they push the rules as much as they can. I didn't see it i saw it I called it. Should i have held off?

| Al, not sure what you are talking about. The Pitcher just has to bring the hands together. No pause needed. The Pause part is that they have to take a signal on the rubber.

| Rule book states at least 1 second not to exceed 10 seconds

| true al, but neal is correct... that pause is while taking the signal, not after starting the pitch. only need to bring hands together then go. while taking signs, hands are separate & ball is in either the hand or glove
