	Wayne June 10, 2012 10:22:30 PM Entry #: 3930011	How do you rule the obstruction/interference rule in this situation. There is a runner going towards third on a medium grounder. The fielder charges the balls and collides with the runner heading towards 3rd. The runner was slightly past the ball. The play was called runner interference. I feel it was obstruction. Any clarity.
	Nov August 7, 2012 11:37:13 PM Entry #: 3959053	runner has to avoid fielder attempting to make a play on the ball. interference is correct. without seeing the play, the fact that the runner was slightly past the ball almost makes it seem that the fielder is at fault, but that's not the rule runner has to allow fielder the right of way to field a ball
