| Incidental contact. If the runners do not move, I would call time and warn the batter. That is also if the catcher does not make an attempt on any of the runners.

| If no play is being made, the ball is dead. If a play is being made, there would be interference, and at the very least, the batter would be out.

| i am going with A & B and here's why.... tho not stated i will assume the batter is in the box - where she should be - and the accidental contact i'd put on the catcher for not clearing the batter to make her throw back to the pitcher. all good players are taught that. if the batter intentionally interferes that different - but not what was stated here. if the batter is out of the box, say due to a passed ball, then i'd probably let it go but warn the batter to pay better attention. sure that's incorrect but don't have the rule book in front of me and it's COLD outside!

| The answer is D. ASA RULE 7, SECTION 6S EXCEPTION. "If no play is being made and the batter accidently makes contact with the catcher's return throw to the pitcher, the ball is dead and any advancement of the runner(s) shall be nullified."
