| When this first happened I thought it would never happen now it has happened three times in six years so I need verification to see if I was correct. Men's softball, as usual only one umpire. Bases loaded , one out, fly ball to right, right fielder makes a great shoestring catch, runner from third tags up and goes home,, runner from second does not tag and runs to third. Runner crosses home and they throw to second for double play. I ruled that the run scored, I thought it was obvious but I got an argument. Was I correct? Also would the call be different if they did a dead ball appeal of runner leaving to early from second? Also, by the way the judgements are virtually impossible as you need to watch four things with one set of eyes.

| Run scores. It's a "time play," not a force out. So the run scores.

| The batter-runner attempting to become a runner forcing other runners to move is a force out. If it's not a force out, runs can score.
