| Had this happen in a Fall Ball game. Smith is injured and Jones comes in as a substitute. Two innings later, Smith returns and replaces Jones. Is this leagal?

| both starters and substitutes can reenter the game once. provided Smith left for the 1st time when she was injured, she has the right to reenter in the same spot in the batting order, which she did. assuming that Jones was not in the game in any capacity earlier and was strictly a sub on the bench, she can enter for Smith, leave, then reenter for Smith later as well. [Smith would be done at that point]

| The NOV is right. The situation all depends on if either of the 2 players had previously b een removed from the game. If not NOV's explanation is correct.
