| 1st or 3rd base playing in front or behind the bag. Ground ball hits the fielders foot goes into foul and then into dead ball territory. What would the call be? Is there a difference if it is in front or behind the bag?

| Makes no difference if fielder was in front or behind 3rd base. Ball was first touched by defense while in fair territory and it is a fair ball. Batted ball deflected into dead ball territory, 2 bases from time of pitch.

| So if the ball continues to roll to the outfield, where F7 kicks the ball into DBT after the batter-runner rounds 1B, you're still only giving her 2B?

| That wasnt the question was it? The question was 1st or 3rd and ball was deflected into dead ball territory. For that matter, if the ball deflected off F7 and the batter/runner had already rounded 1st base, yes, the award is still 2nd base.
Now, if F7 as you said "kicks" the ball out of play 8-5-K is the rule and it would be 2 bases from the last base touched.

| RKB has the correct rule reference BucksCoBlue if the ball is intentionally kicked. the first part, accidental kick/ricochet is a bit earlier in the rulebook 8-5-I-2 Effect. basically a ground rule double and award based on time of the pitch
