| At the moment of interference the ball is dead immediately, nothing can happen after that. In any other rule set other than ASA, the ball is dead, the runner committing the interference is out and the batter/runner would be placed at 1st base. (Unless the umpire judges the interference to be intentional to prevent a double play)
But, ASA has a 8-7-L Note and Exception. If a fly ball, fair or foul is catchable with normal effort and the fielder is interfered with, both the runner committing the interference and the batter/runner are out. So in the play presented, if the umpire judges the ball to be catchable with normal effort, you have 2 outs. If not catchable with normal effort, interference and immediate dead ball, runner is out and batter/runner awarded 1st base.
