| Batter runner goes to round 1st on a double. First baseman on the bag and they run into each other at the base. Runner misses first because of the obstruction but continues on to 2nd base with no play being made on her. Pitcher gets the ball and then properly appeals the batter runner missing first. What is the call

| Again, my guess is that because missing the base supercedes the obstruction, the runner would be out on a proper appeal.

| corrected, in the rule supplement for Obstruction. An obstructed runner may be called out between the two bases the runner was obstructed if the runner is properly appealed for missing a base or leaving a base before a fly ball is first touched.
