| R1 on third one out. Fly ball to left field caught for out #2. R1 has led off with the pitch and is obstructed returning to third to tag up. R1 tags up and attempts to score but is thrown out at home. Ruling?

| What was the margin that runner was thrown out by at home plate? Could they have tagged and scored if the obstruction had not occurred?

| As in the other obstruction thread, an obstructed runner cannot be put out between the 2 bases where obstructed other than for base running violation or interference. Obstruction is not cancelled until 2 separate actions occur, the runner must reach the base they would have reached absent the obstruction and there must be a subsequent play on a different runner.
