| Can someone please explain this to me!!! Rule 8 Section 9B2: (All Adult Slow Pitch except Seniors) Any eligible player on the official line-up including available substitutes may be used as a courtesy runner. A courtesy runner may be used once per inning. NOTE: Any Courtesy Runner used in Coed must be gender specific. Comment: Allows for all Adult Slow Pitch Divisions of Play to use a Courtesy Runner once per inning.

| Neal: We might need to get Hank to bring John Cambridge in on this one. They obviously didn't go over their wording very well (long). So much can be read into it.

| I've seen some rules written poorly before. But this one has to be one of the most ambiguous that I've seen in a while. Talk about being open to interpretation. How do we enforce this in local leagues?

| OK, done some digging. Not sure how ASA will rule on this but if they do rule I am assuming it will be inline with what is currently being used for Masters Slow pitch, Seniors Slow Pitch and Women's slow pitch. The rules are listed in the book under Section 9. A,B and C.
I am assuming this is what ASA will do thanks
