| I'm watching a Varsity game yesterday. Home team has runners on 2nd & 3rd with 1out. Batter hits a line drive to SS who tries to double up the runner at 3rd & throws the ball into dead ball area. Umpires give runner at 3rd - home & runner at 2nd - 3rd base.
shouldn't runner at 2nd also get home? Or are HS rules different then ASA?

| Runner from second scores. Always two (2) bases on an overthrow. Two bases from the last base touched at the time of the throw.
