| 2 strikes on the batter, pitch comes in, batter swings and ball hits bat and goes directly to the catchers glove but bounces out and then hits catchers chest protector where then the catchers catches the ball

| I agree! I think that it's a foul ball once it hits past something other than the hand or glove of the catcher.

| It's a foul tip. It hit the hand or glove first and then was finally secured by the catcher.

| Bingo Perry. As long as the ball goes directly back to the glove or hand first and is legally caught. It is a foul tip. If the ball goes directly back to the chest protector first. No foul tip.
