| Men's Slow Pitch Game. R1 on first. Line drive hit back to pitcher. Ball hits of of pitcher's glove and then the ball, in the air, hits runner half way between first and second. Is there a call to make, or does the ball remain live?

| I'm assuming that the second baseman was in normal position and could have made a play on the ball.
Therefore , you would have interference, the ball would be dead, the runner is out, and the batter is awarded first on a fielder's choice.

| Perry, the rule says hit by an untouched batted ball. If the runner could not avoid being hit by the ball after it was deflected it is nothing.

| Same applies to fast pitch, too.
