| B1 hits an out of the park home run and, as B1 passes 3B, removes their helmet. The plate umpire calls B1 out.

| After the batter-runner crosses home plate, I would give a warning to the batter and also tell the manager the team has a warning that the next player to remove their helmet and the manager is ejected . Le the run count.

| Reminder rather than warning. I would believe. She removed the helmet during a "dead ball." So there is no penalty.

| I agree. If the helmet was removed during a dead ball, there should be no official warning.

| why is this considered dead ball?
The batter/runner still has to touch every base.
In slow pitch yes this is a dead ball scenario. But not in fast pitch

| Once the ball goes beyond the fence, it is a dead ball. Penalties for removing helmets are only enforced during live ball situations. Therefore a reminder might be in order, but no warning, because there is no penalty on a dead ball.

| RULING: When the ball went over the outfield fence, it is no longer a live ball therefore B1 did not remove their helmet during a live ball and should not be penalized. (3-5E EFFECT)
