| Runners on 1st and second 1 out batter hits home run . Runners on 1st and second score and as batter who hit home run rounds third , the third base coach shakes hands and touches runner . Home plate umpire called batter out and allowed both runs to score . Was this the correct ruling ? Thanks

| The rule is the coach cannot physically assist the runner. Shaking hands, slapping on back etc are not physically assisting the runner.
