Tommy Pasinski's 5 RBI's Lead The Way For The Mudcats
Clancy's Pub jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning off of Mudcat starter, Tyler Amrhein. Quinn Construction responded with 2 of their own in the 1st when Tommy Pasinski doubled home Mike Mroz and Jim Pasquine to cut the lead to 3-2. Clancy's added 3 more runs in the 2nd thanks to three walks and an error. The Mudcats cut the lead to 6-4 in the 3rd when Pasinski launched a two-run blast off of Clancy's starter, Lou Kammermeier. The Mudcats took the lead in the 4th. Billy Hodgetts lead off the inning with a solo homerun to left. Tony Kostelnik singled, Mike Mroz singled, Jim Pasquine walked, Brett Ferlic singled, Tommy Pasinski was hit by a pitch, and Dan Cybulski singled. When the dust settled, Quinn Construction was leading 9-6. Mudcat reliever and winning pitcher, Alex Edgar, held Clancy's scoreless for 2.2 innings. Mike Lynn came into the game to relieve Edgar but ran into some trouble in the 5th. Scott Seabol started the 5th with a double followed by 2 walks. Buddy Wilson singled to make the score 9-7. The Mudcats went to their bullpen and summoned Jim Pasquine. Pasquine got Jon Guiliani to ground out but a run scored making it 9-8. Dylan DiDomenico then hit a shot to center that was run down by the speedy Pasinski to end the rally. Quinn's got an insurance run in the 5th from Tony Kostelnik who drilled a ball to deep right center that bounced off the top of the fence and over giving the Mudcats a 10-8 lead. Clancy's wouldn't go away. In the 6th, Scott Seabol once again doubled and came around on a Bill Theobald double making it 10-9. In the bottom half of the 6th, Tommy Pasinski reached on an error and then stole second. Dan Cybulski doubled down the left field line driving in Pasinski making it 11-9. Cybulski moved to 3rd on Kevin Quinn's groundout and scored on Ron Mitko's infield single making it 12-9. Jordan Lunardini ran for Mitko and promptly stole second. Lunardini scored on Kostelnik's 3rd hit of the day making it 13-9. Clancy's made some noise in the 7th inning when Buddy Wilson and John Jumba both doubled but they could only manage one run as Pasquine got three ground ball outs to end the game.
