Mark Breisinger Leads The Way On The Mound For Bowser

Although Clancy's (16-8) is already locked into the second seed for the impending DNL postseason, Bowser was in desperate need for a win to stay ahead of Klingensmith Insurance in the race for third place. Rookie Mark Breisinger got the starting nod for Bowser and responded by limiting Clancy's to just 2 hits in his 5 innings of work. If the Twins (12-9-1) defeat first-place Mulligan's (19-3-1) tonight in both team's regular season finales at Clairton Park, they will finish ahead of the Mets for third place in the final regular season standings and the very important last first round bye in the playoffs. However, if Bowser loses and Klingensmith (13-10) defeats sixth-place Graham's Service (9-14) tonight at Wylie Field, then third-place seeding will belong to manager Jeff Kern's Mets.
