PWC Panthers Track & Field Club has enhanced our registration process in an effort to be painless, fast and seamless to prospective and returning members. The registration process was streamlined to minimize the number of forms required to complete, and key activities must be completed online; resulting in more accurate data collection, and time and cost savings.
A. Online Registration
PWC Panthers registration process starts with the completion of an online registration form. The registration form captures information required to obtain an athlete’s AAU/USATF membership, athlete and parent contact information, and details of the athlete’s track and field experience and desires. Visit our website homepage; In the Register Online section, click the appropriate REGISTRATION link to complete the online registration form. Please complete the registration form in its entirety. The information collected is used to communicate pertinent information to athletes and parents, and for planning purposes for the upcoming season.
The AAU Program is comprised of nine (9) age divisions. The athlete's YEAR OF BIRTH shall determine the appropriate age division for current year competition for all are divisions 8 & under through 15-16 year old.
The minimum age for PWC Panthers athletes is six (6) years old. Therefore, the maximum year of birth for athletes is 2013.
The DATE OF BIRTH shall be used to determine the appropriate age division for the 17-18 age divisions thus assuring that any athlete that DOES NOT turn 19 before the last day of the National Championship competition is still eligible to compete. Athletes MUST NOT turn 19 before the final day of the National Championship Competition (August 3, 2019).

B. Handbook & Policy Agreement
1. Mandatory Sports Alliance Video
How many times have we heard about a parent getting ejected from their child's youth sports event for unruly behavior or about a parent who has their 8 year old child follow a regiment similar to that of a professional athlete?
Hundreds surveyed college athletes were asked back. "What is your worst memory from playing youth and high school sports?"
Their overwhelming response. "The ride home from games with my parents."
Nearly 75 percent of kids who are involved in organized sports QUIT by age 13. Some find that their skill level hits a plateau and the game is no longer fun. Several signs of parents taking credit when the child has done well or when the outcome of the meet means more to a parent to the child.
Be supportive of your child's achievement. When your child is ready to talk about the meet or has a question about the outcome, BE SUPPORTIVE AND POSITIVE. Be your child's biggest fan.

2. PWC Panthers Track & Field Club Handbook
The Club Handbook was created to help guide our parents and athletes through the track season. The contents contain a wealth of information and should answer many of your questions. It should also help you understand what is expected from the organization. The intent of this handbook is to serve as a living document for this organization. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions please feel free to contact a member of our administrative team or coaching staff.
