Uniontown YMCA
FROM THE NORTH (ROUTE 51 SOUTH FROM PITTSBURGH):
Stay on Rt 51 at the 4th traffic light (an offset 4 street "X" intersection with an old train station ahead on your left, car dealership on your immediate right, firefighter statue across the intersection), turn right onto N. Mt. Vernon Avenue;
Stay on Mt. Vernon Avenue (you cross Route 40 with the WW 1 doughboy statute on your left with the flags, Walgreens on your right. This becomes South Mt. Vernon); after the first traffic light after the doughboy you will see the YMCA sign on your right (if you go to the stop sign you went too far). Turn right and park.
FROM THE NORTH EAST (ROUTE 119 COMING SOUTH FROM GREENSBURG):
Take Route South 119
Take the Rout 51 Exit and make a left onto Route 51.
At the 2nd traffic light (an offset 4 street "X" intersection with an old train station ahead on your left, car dealership on your immediate right, firefighter statue across the intersection), turn right onto N. Mt. Vernon Avenue;
Stay on Mt. Vernon Avenue (you cross Route 40 with the WW 1 doughboy statute on your left with the flags, Walgreens on your right. This becomes South Mt. Vernon); after the first traffic light after the doughboy you will see the YMCA sign on your right (if you go to the stop sign you went too far). Turn right and park.
FROM THE EAST (ROUTE 40 FROM WASHINGTON):
Stay on Route 40 past the Uniontown Mall (on your right). After you go under the Route 119 by-pass and clear its intersections and its lights, at the second traffic light, turn right onto S. Mt. Vernon Avenue. Walgreen's is on your left here, a high rise apartment on your immediate right, Jendral's Drugstore is on your opposite right, the WW 1 doughboy statute and the flags are in front of you to the left); After the first traffic light you will see the YMCA sign on your right (if you go to the stop sign you went too far). Turn right and park.
