FEES
1. All team members must be Uniontown YMCA members.
2. The YMCA Program Fee must be paid to the YMCA to cover our coaching salaries. This fee varies with the number of participants each season. The winter season fee is higher due to the longer season.
3. An additional Team fee is to be paid to the parents group or can be earned through participation in fundraising activities. This fee covers league fees, equipment, relay entries, travel, and banquet expenses.
PARENT PARTICIPATION
The teams success is dependent upon the involvement of all parents or guardians. Parent responsibilities include working at all home events in such capacities as timers, concessions, scorekeepers, runners, and officials.
(Officials positions require completion of training courses and certification.)
The parents group is also responsible for the raising of funds for such things as relay fees, end of season awards and events, coaches travel costs, medals and ribbons for meets, etc. Funds to cover these costs are raised through our annual invitationals and other fundraising activities. All parents are required to assist with these activities or pay the parents group a fee equivalent to their share of needed funds.
