Humber Valley Old Timers (Murray Dryden Division) of the Humber Valley Hockey Association
The Murray Dryden division is for 45 year old and over players. Many of the players have participated as officials, coaches and assistants in the Humber Valley Hockey Association and have found the Humber Valley Old Timers (HVOT) a natural and comfortable way to continue their individual hockey diversion.
The late Murray Dryden was actively involved in our league, regularly attending our banquets and golf tournaments and providing us with updates on his organization, SLEEPING CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD (S.C.A.W.).
The HVOT provides donations to S.C.A.W. It has been a fundamental mandate of HVOT to be active and helpful members of the Etobicoke community.
If you are 45 years old or over and are interested in joining the league, please click on 'FORMS' in the menu bar above and select 'HVOT ONLINE FORMS' and then select 'HVOT NEW PLAYER APPLICATION'. Your application will be automatically sent to our Registrar for review.
The first full season commenced in September, 1989. In establishing the Humber Valley Old Timers, the Humber Valley Hockey Association took the opportunity to pay special recognition to Murray Dryden. About the Dryden Family-click here

The Humber Valley Old Timers is financially self-sustaining. Its budget is established independently of the Humber Valley Hockey Association and it operates in a manner which allows revenue to be generated each year. It is the objective of the Humber Valley Old Timers to use some portion of the excess revenue for the purpose of funding charitable and worthwhile endeavours such as Sleeping Children Around the World.
The HVOT has become a meaningful addition to the activities of the Humber Valley Hockey Association. Its philosophy is consistent with the theme of "Hockey for Fun and Fitness". It is a natural continuation of a process which allows participants to enjoy their love for the great game of hockey.
