TIE BREAK RULES - PLAYOFFS

Tie Break Rules after the Round Robin Playoffs: (Based on playoff standings)

To reward a first place finish after the regular season, first playoff tie break goes to the First Place Team. After that, the playoff tie break reverts to either the two, or multi-team tie break as used in the regular season, but using the playoff games statistics.

Tie between two teams after the completion of the Round Robin Playoffs will be broken in the following order:

1. Regular season 1st place team.
2. Points winner in playoffs between tied teams, head to head basis. i.e. the tied teams records are re-cut to determine
standings had they only played against each other, ignoring all other games.
3. Most wins in playoffs.
4. Best Goals For minus Goals Against in playoffs (DIFF).
5. Least goals against in playoffs.
6. Most points against the 1st place team in playoffs.
7. Least penalized team in playoffs.
8. Coin toss.

Should three or more teams be tied, the following tie breaker format will be used:

1. Regular season 1st place team.
2. Best points record against the number of teams tied in a head to head basis. (the tied teams records are re-cut to determine
standings had they only played against each other, ignoring all other games.)
3. Most wins in playoffs.
4. Best Goals For minus Goals Against in playoffs (DIFF).
5. Least goals against in playoffs.
6. Most points against the 1st place team in playoffs.
7. Least penalized team in playoffs.
8. Coin toss.
