Scouts and their families are always encouraged to invite friends, classmates, relatives, or new kids in town to visit a Troop 77 meeting. What could be better than enjoying the scouting experience with a buddy or pal. Recruitment information is available from Scoutmaster.
Scouts and parents can also share the Troop 77 Facebook page or internet page with friends and relatives so they can enjoy seeing Troop activities and encourage others to join in the fun.

Merit Badge Counselors
Having adults registered with the Council as a merit badge counselor is very important for the fun and advancement of Troop 77 Scouts.
Our Scouts can utilize any Council Merit Badge Counselor, but it really speeds up the process if we have the most popular badges covered by Troop 77 adults. Our goal would be to cover all the Eagle required badges (First Aid, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Communication, Cooking, Personal Fitness, Emergency Preparedness, Lifesaving, Environmental Science or Sustainability, Personal Management, Swimming or Hiking or Cycling, Camping, and Family Life.
Think about your work and hobbies. Does your job or hobby coincide with a Scout Merit Badge listed above or any of the 135+ merit badges available in Scouting? If so, you would be a great counselor for our Troop. It also gives you a great way to be involved in your Scouts Troop and sharing your passion with local youth.
An adult can register to Counsel for just 1 merit badge, or up to 9 badges if they desire!

Uniform Closet Needs
If you have any uniforms that you're not using or which your son has outgrown, please consider donating them to the Troop 77 Uniform Closet. This can be any uniform items such as Field Uniform (Class A) shirts, scout pants and shorts, troop neckerchiefs, or Activity uniform (Class B) shirts.
Likewise, if you are in need of uniform items, please check to see what's in the closet. They are available to all troop members. Now is the time to make sure you have a complete uniform in time for summer camp.
