Families with son’s participating in MIC have been working on a trading patch for the MIC week at Northwoods. The boys brainstormed Wednesday night about what they would like on the 3” round patch. A mean panther seemed to have the most interest so we will see what the patch company can come up with. 200 patches were pre-paid on Friday by Cindy Reisig. If you haven’t already paid Cindy please do so at your earliest convenience.

Troop 77 has established the following procedures and deadlines for the Michigan International Camporee:

1 - Your applications must be turned in by 1/18/12.

2 - To receive the early payment incentive, the fee must be paid by 1/18/12.

3 - The cost is $150 for each adult and $300 for each scout if paid by 1/18.

4 - The cost is $200/adult and $350/scout if paid after 1/18.


The home stays week runs from Sunday, July 15, to Saturday, July 21, 2012.
MIC runs from Sunday, July 22, to Sunday, July 29, 2012. We will camp with 1 or 2 units from another country and 1 unit from either elsewhere in the USA or Canada.

Please seriously consider signing up for this awesome event. It is a great experience for each scout to have the opportunity to interact with scouts from all over the world. It will probably be one of your most memorable experiences in scouting and considering all we do those 2 weeks it is a bargain.
