Safe Sport Program and Policies

As a charter member of USA Wrestling, Chaparral Wrestling Club has adopted the same policies as USA Wrestling for safeguarding our athletes from all forms of abuse and misconduct.

The adopted policies address abuse and misconduct as defined in the Safe Sport Code:

1) Sexual Abuse and Misconduct

2) Physical Abuse and Misconduct

3) Emotional Abuse and Misconduct

4) Bullying, Threats and Harassment

5) Hazing 

Chaparral Wrestling Club is committed to creating the safest possible environment for participation in the sport of wrestling. All Chaparral Wrestling Club coaches receive Safe Sport Training from USAW and pass extensive background checks before they are allowed to interact with club members.
