Drop-off & Pick-up Instructions at The Barn

- Attached is a diagram of how drop-off/pick-up should go.
- There is no parking at the Barn. Parents cannot stay or attend practice or any event at the Barn.
- Coaches must park on the property as diagramed above
- Parents should drive past the barn to the end of the street and turn around in the cul de sac. Parents can then pull into the U-Shaped driveway and pull as far forward as possible allowing as many vehicles as possible onto the driveway and off the street. Those waiting on the street will be on the north side of the road and will wait on the road (do not pull onto the shoulder or into the ditch!) until the line clears and they can pull into the driveway.
- Kids will be instructed to wait by the garage until they see their parents vehicle in the driveway
This is a private residence with no parking. To ensure we do not upset the neighbors or the property owner, we are asking all attendees to strictly adhere to the following drop-off and pick-up guidelines:
- Parents may not observe or watch practice. We do not have the parking or the physical space in the barn for this to occur.
- Please drop off and pick-up your wrestler 10 minutes prior to the start of practice and 5-10 minutes after practice is scheduled to end.
- High School wrestlers who are driving to and from practice are asked to carpool whenever possible to minimize the vehicles parked at the residence. Those that drive need to park where the coaches park.
- Legend High School is 1.4 miles away and kids are asked to park there and carpool over to practice. This will require that you work out a carpool schedule with teammates in advance.
- Parents who are early for pickup should stage at Legend and head over to the Barn at the end of practice. Use Legend high school like you would use the 30-minute Airport waiting area at DIA. Don't come to pick your wrestler up until they call or you are sure practice is over.
- Drive very slowly while entering and exiting the driveway as there are small children present at both practice and that live at the residence.
- The driveway to the residence is U-shaped. You should pull into the driveway, drop your wrestler off and proceed out the other side of the driveway. Treat this like the Kiss N Go lane at your local elementary school.
- Do not drive past the garage toward the barn as you will not be able to turn around and the gate will be closed.
- Kids must bring a water bottle and wrestling shoes to practice. DO not allow your wrestler to put on their wrestling shoes until they have reached the barn.
It is critical that we keep the neighbors and the landowner happy. If we upset anyone, we lose our ability to practice and have a season. Please follow the rules like your child's wrestling season depends on it....because it does!
