Clearance Information Sheet

Act 153 of 2014 now requires each volunteer to have all criminal background clearances and to update these clearances on a three-year cycle. The PA Criminal history is free for volunteers and the Child Abuse is free for those who have not done one in 57 months.  You may have a fee of $8.

 
Starting with the past 2015 season, clearances are good for 3 years.  Any manager, coach, or field parent volunteers, If you do not have clearances on file with OYL from the 2015 season, please send a copy of both clearances to Stephanie Santucci atssantucci10@hotmail.com by March 15.

 Child Abuse clearance online at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS

 Any volunteer that has NOT resided in PA within the last 10 years will need to obtain an additional clearance from the FBI, via a fingerprint check.
