This is a list of short notes on past players for the Connecticut High School Fall All Star players the are of interest. If any one knows of things that have been missed that should be on this page please send an e-mail and additions will be made.


MARK BORDONARO AND MATT CARASITI WHO BOTH PLAYED FOR THE FALL ALL STAR TEAM WERE DRAFTED PRO IN 2012 MARK BY SEATTLE AND MATT BY COLORADO.
BRYAN DANIELLO ATTENDED THE 2011 SHOWCASE WORK OUT. BRYAN (WHO WILL ATTEND THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT IN SEPTEMBER WAS CHOSEN THE CONNECTICUT HIGH SCHOOL GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR 2012.

Craig Schlitter and Joe Michaud both played in the past for the Connecticut High School Fall All Stars. The two become mainstays of the Bryant College pitching staff, and recorded 14 mound wins between them in 2012.  After their senior years in 2013 both players were drafted professionally.

Brian and Scott Rembisz are one of only two brother combination to ever play for the Connecticut fall all star team. Both Brian and Scott signed professional contacts, and played in the minor leagues during the 2010 season.

Craig Breslow who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 1997 is currently pitching for the Oakland Athletics in the majors leagues. Craig pitched in college for Yale University.

Jesse Carlson who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 1998. He signed professionally and pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays in the major leagues. Jesse played college baseball for the University of Connecticut

Cory Riordan who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2003 won 12 games on the mound for the Colorado Rockies in the minor leagues last year. Cory played college baseball for Fordham University.

Kyle Vazquez who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 won three games on the mound for the San Francisco Giants in the minors last year. Kyle played college ball for Franklin Pierce University.

A. J. Pollock who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 was a first round draft pick in the MLB June draft in 2009. A. J. had three outstanding years for Notre Dame University and played in the Cape Cod league before going pro.

Pat Dean who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2006 has five wins on the mound for Boston College this year. Dean is a junior this year and should be in the June Major League Baseball draft.

Mark Micowski who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 is hitting almost .400 for Georgia State University this year as a junior. Mark is an outfielder who played his last two summers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

Rob Bono who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 and 2006 won 10 games on the mound for the Houston Astros in the minor leagues last year. This year he will pitch for Florida Marlin organization.

Matt Harvey who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2004 and 2005 has seven wins on he mound for the University of North Carolina this year. Matt was the 7th pick in the first round of the major league baseball in 2010.
Dan Paolini who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2006 is having another big year for Siena College. Paolini, a sophomore is hitting over .350 for the second year in a row. Dan was picked for second team All American this year.

Ben Farina who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 and 2006 is hitting over .300 for Quinnipiac University this year. Ben is playing the outfield and is in his junior year.

Andy Mayer who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2003 played college baseball for Quinnipiac College and has the record for most pitching wins for the Quinnipiac Bobcats.

Tim Binkowski who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2002 played pro ball for the Philidelphia Phillies and now is an assistant coach for Quinnipiac College. Tim holds the all time record for hits at Quinnipiac.

Kevin Jefferis who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2007 and 2008 has seven wins on the mound for Western New England this year. Kevin as a freshman has been chosen third team all New England for Division III this year.


Joe Griglun who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2005 is batting over .400 for the Western New England College Golden Bears. Joe has been awared first team all New England for Division III this year, and second team Division III All American.
John Murphy who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2008 is batting over .350 for Sacred Heart University this year as a freshman. John is playing shortstop.

Jeff Hourigan who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars from 1998-2000 and Matt Untiet who played for the Connecticut Fall All Stars in 2002 are both assistant coaches at the division 1 college level. Jeff coaches at UConn, while Matt is a Stetson.
