HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP FUND
It is the intention of the New Braunfels JR Cougars Youth Football and Cheer Organization to have every child that wants to play ball to be able to do so.
To qualify for a Hardship Scholarship you must click on “REQUESTING "HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP" in the upper right hand corner on our home page. Our form will allow you to register up to 4 players. Please fill out the form and submit it to the JR Cougars Youth Football and Cheer Board. Payment for Hardship Scholarship is $100.00 for one child, $175 for 2, $250 for three and $325 for 4. You "DO NOT" have to pay when signing up. We will work with you on payments if need be. The Board will evaluate your request and advise you of its decision prior to the start of the season. If your request is accepted your child will be able to play with no further expenses except for gear that may be needed i.e. Mouth Piece, Chin Strap, Cleats, Practice Pants etc.. as mentioned above. If your request is accepted you must also agree to donate a minimum of ten (10) hours of volunteer time to the JR Cougars Organization. If the Board rejects your request your payment will be refunded (if paid), and you will have to pay the full registration fee.
