WCABL Summer 2013

The REDMEN Franchise collected its 1000th league win during the summer of 2013 vs Ryan's Pub. 

This was the 57th year that the REDMEN have been in the league. The Red Men started in 1924 and continued to field a team every year since except for two years during World War II. In league play the team posted 16 regular-season titles as well as 18 playoff titles.

Tom Wulk posted 199 wins as a manager and Rob Gill leads all managers with 474 wins for the REDMEN.  The list of players and managers connected to the Red Men reads like a who’s who of WCABL Hall of Famers. 

Ev Gill, who managed from 1941 to 1962; Roy Hanthorne, who was the man behind the team’s success; as well as Hal Young, Harvey Roop, Hal Young, and Fred Weser.
