To all Team Managers, Representatives and Players,
As we near the end of 2024, the Executive Board and I would like to extend our warm wishes to you and your families this holiday season.
As we look ahead to 2025, I have the following information I would like to pass along:
Our 2025 National Tournament will be held in Charlottetown, PEI and surrounding municipalities.
Preparations are well underway with the assistance of Alf Blanchard and his group of volunteers.
Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, the executive board along with input from our 57+/60+ group participating teams, have chosen to drop 57+ age group, allowing the 60+ age group to carry a maximum for four (4) underage players, 57 years of age or older. However, the underage limit for the 60+ division will decrease in following years. 2026 (4 players max @ 58+ years of age), 2027 (4 players max. @ 59+ years of age), 2028 (all players areexpected to be 60+ years of age by December 31st of tournament year. No exceptions!)
Based on diamond availability in 2025, we are capping the tournament at 32 teams total.
33+ (8 teams)
43+ (8 teams)
50+ (8 teams)
60+ (8 teams)
....... Or any other combination thereof!
Thanks to Alf Blanchard, I have included a list of participating hotels that are holding a block of rooms for the tournament. August 1st weekend is a very busy time in Charlottetown. You and your teams should book accommodations as early as possible.
More information will follow in the New Year as it becomes available.
The CNOBF Executive Board wishes you and your families a very safe and Happy Holiday, as well as a prosperous New Year!
With warmest regards,
Tim

About Us
The Canadian National Oldtimers' Baseball Federation is heading into its latest season of conducting a national tournament for baseball (hardball) players 33 years of age and over who are no longer interested in competitive senior baseball, but are seeking a way to continue playing a game they love. Players from across Canada come together on the first weekend in August for a four-day tournament.
We invite you to browse through our website. Find out about the history of the Federation, what happened at recent tournaments and most importantly what is coming up in our next tournament. Check out some photos. Read excerpts from newsletters, the rules and how to apply to host the tournament.
If you are interested in coming on board, we would be happy to chat with you and help you join our program.

SPONSORSHIP SEARCH
The Canadian National Oldtimers’ Baseball Federation is looking for sponsorship for the annual tournament. Our participants are all 33+ years of age and therefore a sponsor with products or services of value to that age group would be most likely to reap the benefits.
In return for sponsorship we can assign the sponsor’s name to the tournament, to the divisions, and to the souvenir program cover. In addition a banner at the ball park(s) where the tournament is being played can be displayed. All media coverage would utilize the sponsor’s name with reference to the tournament’s name.
