PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DAN FRANCHI, HDMH - NAVY

Dan Franchi (SUNY Binghamton) takes home the Player of the Week Award.  Franchi went 6 for 11 during the week with 9 runs scored and 5 RBI.  The speedy SUNY Binghamton outfielder recorded 2 doubles, a triple, 2 base-on-balls, and 5 stolen bases to help HDMH - Navy stay undefeated in the League.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK:

LUKE HANSEN, LONG ISLAND TITANS - WHITE

Luke Hansen (Sacred Heart University) notched the win against the Storm on Saturday by hurling 5 scoreless innings. Hansen did not allow a hit and struck out seven batters in the victory.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

TRAVIS HONEYMAN, HDMH - NAVY

Travis Honeyman (Boston College) receives the Rookie of the Week Award.  The incoming freshman batted .444 during the week with 2 base-on-balls, 4 runs scored, and 6 RBI.  The Boston College bound infielder hit two homeruns in HDMH – Navy’s victory against the Astros on Saturday.
