GEORGE MULCAHEY, LONG ISLAND STORM
George Mulcahey (Wheaton College) takes home the Player of the Week Award. Mulcahey batted .555 during the week recording a double, triple, and a homerun. The Wheaton College infielder also walked three times and had 5 runs scored.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK:
CAMERON MAYER, LONG ISLAND TITANS-WHITE
Cameron Mayer (Tuftsi University) tossed a complete game shutout against the Long Island Titans-Blue this week. Mayer scattered 3 hits and struck out 11 batters without allowing a walk in the win.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
DEREK LIVINGSTON, LONG ISLAND ASTROS
Derek Livingston (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) receives the Rookie of the Week Award. Livingston was part of a combined no-hitter against the Nor’easters this week. The incoming freshman hurled 5 innings while striking out 8 batters.
