Easy Goita (Shepard University) takes home this week’s Player of the Week Award.  Goita went 6 for 8 during the week with three doubles, 2 walks, 5 stolen bases, and 3 runs scored

DANNY OWENS, LONG ISLAND ASTROS

Danny Owens (Southern New Hampshire University) hurled a no-hitter against the Diamond Birds this week.  Owens struck out 13 batters in the no-hitter.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

ALEXANDER DIAZ, LONG ISLAND STORM

Alexander Diaz (Cloud County CC) receives the Rookie of the Week Award. Diaz went 5 for 11 during the week with 5 walks and 2 RBIs.
