REQUESTING "HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP" FOR FALL 2025

HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP FUND

It is the intention of the New Braunfels JR Cougars Youth Football and Cheer Organization to have every child that wants to play Football or Cheer to be able to do so.

To qualify for a Hardship Scholarship, you must click on REQUESTING "HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP" in the upper right-hand corner and MUST PAY THE HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP FEE Online, VENMO or CASH APP before any decision will be made.

HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP'S WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO USE ONE TIME SO THAT OTHERS MAY BE ALLOWED THE SAME OPPERTUNITY IF NEEDED. ANOTHER WORDS, YOU CANNOT APPLY BACK-TO-BACK SEASONS.

Our form will allow you to register up to 4 players. Please fill out the form and submit it to the JR Cougars Youth Football and Cheer Board.

The Board will evaluate your request and advise you of its decision prior to the start of the season. If your request is accepted your child will be able to play with no further expenses except for gear that may be needed i.e. Mouthpiece, Chin Strap, Cleats, Practice Pants, Cheer "White" Shoes, etc. as mentioned above.

If your request is accepted, you must also agree to donate a minimum of ten (10) hours of volunteer time to the JR Cougars Organization. If the Board rejects your request your payment will be refunded (if paid), and you will have to pay the full registration fee.
