a. A league player who gets injured during the season to the extent they are not physically able to play the remainder of the Season, and/or moves out of town, team is than permitted to play there designated ‘permanent sub’ to take his/her place on the team for the remainder of the season. (i.e. permanent sub CAN have a sub play with them during playoffs)

b. A permanent sub cannot be replaced by the original team member during the same league he/she was designated the permanent sub. (scenario: original player gets hurt badly, permanent sub takes over for hurt player, later in that league season the original player wants to replace the permanent sub on the team no can-do buckaroo!)

The spirit of the above rule is to continue team play if a team member is injured or has to leave town. The above rule is NOT meant to be used as a competitive advantage. Please do NOT exhibit poor Pickleball sportsmanship.
