Tournament Organizer - New Tournament Set-up


This form should take anywhere from 10 -15 minutes to complete. Most questions have drop down answers. If the drop-down answers do NOT give you a desirable solution, please provide your solution at the bottom of the form labeled OTHER DETAILS. All of the information you provide will be posted in The Program Description – Located @ Register Online (used to describe your tournament before committing to playing), on the standings page & on the division page.

There is no cost to you for setting up this tournament. Teams will pay to play. Pickleball-Central will keep $16 per team for administrative costs. Anything over $16 will be sent to you no later than 30 days after your tournament.

Teams signed up to play in the tournament will be posted on division page no later than 72 hours before Tournament Date. As I recieve confirmations from committed teams I'll post them on website.

Game Scoring: Game to 11. Win by 2
SEMI Scoring: Game to 15. Win by 2. Game over @ 21.
CHAMPIONSHIP: Game to 15. Win by 2

2 Divisions of 4 will be posted on this website at least 24 hours before start date.

TOURNAMENT PLAY-IN: Play each team in your Division for a total of 3 Games
2 teams from the division continue in to the playoffs

Teams are seeded #1 Seed & #2 Seed in their Division

If a player is injured and cannot continue the tournament or if a player leaves or a player cannot continue to play for any reason or if a player doesn’t show to begin the tournament. Said team will forfeit remaining games (11-6 Loss) and be disqualified from the playoffs.

Please Note: If player does NOT show and is late, He/She will be given a 15-minute grace period from original start time. Game #2 and 3 start times are 5 minutes after their previous game. After grace period Game #1 will be forfeited. Grace period is extended for 15-minutes for game #2 & Game #3.
Example: Player can be 20 minutes late for game #1 (Forfeit loss score 11-6) than play games #2 & #3.

Please also Note: Team winning by forfeit needs to ready to play next game 5 minutes after their opponent completes their game.

Please check appropriate box regarding a contingency for player getting injured & not being able to continue & a player not showing up for start of play.
