GAME TIME STARS Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Welcome to the home of the Gametime Stars. We are a 12u competitive fastpitch travel team that is based out of the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. We are sponsored by Game Time Sports Academy, a new state of the art, 25,000 square foot athletic training facility located in South OKC, complete with a 80' X 80' turf infield, eight hitting tunnels, pitching lanes, and a complete pro shop stocked with all the latest softball and baseball gear, including a great line of 2009 bats,the new Liberty Advance gloves as well as various bat bags, helmets, balls, batting gloves, etc, etc. Game Time Sports Academy also offers various pitching clinics from OCU pitching coach Harold Copas, University of Oklahoma pitcher Lauren Eckermann as well as hitting instruction from NAIA All-American Erin Slettvet.
During our 1st season together as a team, we competed in 10U and set a goal of attending the USSSA World Series at Disney Sports Park in Orlando, Florida. We achieved that goal, and finished 4th out of 29 teams. In preperation to achieve our goal, we made it a point to travel wherever need be, (Mesquite TX, Arlington TX, Tulsa OK, Kansas City MO, as well as playing many local tournaments that gave our girls the best opportunity to get better as a team.) to find the toughest competition available. We enjoyed alot of success along the way winning 7 of the 13 tournaments we competed in (Including a State Championship in MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma), and finished in the top 3 in all but 2 of those 13!! We look forward to continued success and meeting the challenges that stepping up to 12's will bring us. So if you like great defense and high octane offense, then come check us out!!!!

Stars WIN In KC !!

3-10-2008: STARS take 3rd at All Star Park in Tulsa in our first tournament. Way to go girls!
3-17-2008 : STARS take 2nd in the Mustang Early Bird, losing only to the Boomer Sooners and taking them to the "IF" game in the finals. Getting better every week!!!!
3-30-2008: STARS take 1st Place in the Boomtown NAFA qualifier!!! Great Job ladies!! The Stars beat Ultimate Fastpitch Softball twice on their way to the title!
4-05-2008 : STARS rock Mesquite Texas!! 1st Place USFA "Cowboy Up" World qualifier. Keep it rolling ladies!! The Stars outscored their opponents 38-1 and defeated Anderson Express 5-0 in the finals to capture the title!
4-19-2008 : STARS take 3rd in the MGSA Spring Tournament. Keep working hard!
4-27-2008 : STARS take 1st Place in the Mustang NAFA qualifier! Nice job, ladies!!Stars run-rule the competition on their way to another title!
5-04-2008 : STARS take 1st Place in the Harrah Fastpitch Frenzy! Stars defeat Ultimate Fastpitch Softball 7-1 in the finals to win another tournament! Keep hammering that ball, girls!!
5-26-2008 : STARS take 1st Place in the Kansas City Memorial Day Fastpitch Invitational. Stars were aligned again this weekend. We outscored our opponents 88-10 and defeated the top ranked teams in KS and MO as well as beating the previously undefeated Muskogee Impact 5-0 in the finals to earn the tournament championship! Awesome tournament! Keep up the hard work!
5-31-2008 : STARS take 2nd Place in the Triple Crown! The Stars earned the #1 seed after pool play and defeated Sweet Gold 5-1, but came up a little short the second time around, one of those times you would like to have an "IF" game! Good tournament, ladies!
6-8-2008 : STARS take 1st Place in the Boxer Blowout! Stars defeated the competition again, going 5-0 and beating Sweet 97 12-5 in the finals! We are proud of you! Alyssa Osterdock earns a well deserved Tournament MVP and Jen Marwitz earns an equally well deserved Offensive MVP! Keep working hard!
6-22-08 : USSSA STATE CHAMPIONS!!! STARS roll through the competition in Muskogee, OK. The STARS outscored their opponents 30 -5 on their way to the state title, including two more victories against Ultimate Fastpitch Softball! Great job ladies, time to start working toward our ULTIMATE goal, a national title!!!
8-2-2008 : USSSA World Series. STARS light up the competion on their undefeated march through pool play enroute to a #1 seed. During bracket play the STARS played great only falling short to a couple of very tough Florida teams and finished 4th out of 29 teams. GREAT JOB STARS!! Way to cap an impressive season. Great season ladies!!! 2008 Spring Record 62-12 with a TRUE "A" schedule!
