July 18 - 24, 2010 12A USFA World Series Frank Brown Park Panama City, FL |
In one of the most amazing feats that the Gametime Star Ladies have ever achieved! After being placed in the losers bracket on the 4th bracket game, they came back undefeated to win the USFA 12A National Championship! After working all season to get ready for this big one, the Stars had to deal with a leaking and sunken Deepwater Horizon oil well constantly spewing oil, a Hurricane named Bonnie, and then being asked to play until 3:30am in the morning! But, amazingly these ladies overcame all this and defeated some of the best teams in the Southeast to win another National Championship! Two years in a row! Congratulations ladies! Now we end our season. This spring we played 76 games with an overall record of 64 wins and 12 loses. That is a tremendous record! Everyone be safe getting home and enjoy school ball as we take a rest and enjoy the pride of this achievement! Congrats to Bailey Shaffer (Skittles) on a fantastic out of the yard homer on field 4 at Frank Brown Park! That's two big ones for this young lady! |

March 6-7, 2010 14&U USSSA State Festival World Series Qualifier Edmond, OK - Legacy Park |
STARS took 2nd Place in the 14&U State Festival USSSA world qualifier at Legacy Park!!! After a one point lose in the first game against the Diamonds 96, it was time for the Stars to get busy and come out of the losers bracket. They did a remarkable job coming back to the championship game against the OK Stixx 96, but maintaning their stamina in 5 straight games prevailed. Ladies you did a remarkable job in playing the 96 teams! Very nice work in starting the first season tournament! |
March 26-28, 2010 12A TGSF April Fools Jam Tulsa, OK - Savage Park |
The Gametime Stars met up with one of the top 12U teams in the state. The Muskogee Impact! Very nice work by both teams! These teams had three very close games that could have gone either way, but the Stars came through. Maybe the Stars can meet up with the Impact again soon? Both teams could improve by leaps and bounds from that! Our Muskogee friends know where we'll be! Overall, a very nice tournament with great hitting, pitching and fielding plays! Good work Stars! |
April 2-3, 2010 14U MSA Easter Classic Mustang, OK |
What a day! The trees were blossoming, the birds were singing, the bunnies were hopping, and easter eggs were being hidden and found everywhere. A very nice Easter Spring weekend day! But...the Stars weren't quite playing at their maximum potential. We can do better than 2 for 4 ladies! Let's all get to work after Easter! Come in and work extra batting practices on off days for extra tuning. Get it together for that next time! A special grats to Halle Melone for going the yard with a Homer over a 200 foot left field fence! It's about time Halle! Let's see more of that action! |
April 16 -18, 2010 14U Spring Tune-Up Duncan, OK |
Rain Rain Go Away! (Was that guy building an Ark in the parking lot?) Well we got two games in on Friday before the floodgates from heaven opened up. And WOW was there some great hitting by the Stars before it rained! With that 300 foot outfield fence we had numerous in the park Homers. We haven't seen that many Homers since 10A ball? Let's keep up the great hitting and take it into next week when it dries up? Let's go Gametime! |
April 23 - 25, 2010 14&U USSSA Worth Swing Into Spring Legacy Park; Edmond, OK |
The Gametime Stars went 4 straight wins in Pool Play and followed that up with 3 straight wins in the single elimination bracket for the championship. Championship game brought us up against a very strong and powerful Jenks Shoxx team. The Stars needed to bring their "A" game, and they did. Some very good improvements were seen in preparation for the upcoming big tournaments in Kansas City, Colorado, and Florida. Very nice work this weekend ladies! |
May 7 - 9, 2010 IFA 14&U National Qualifier Mustang, OK |
Happy Mother’s Day Moms! All our girls performed spectacular this weekend! Our Stars came up against some very strong and competitive 14&U teams that we haven't seen this year. Showtime 96 and the Little Axe Magic 95. We are a 97 team playing with the 95 and 96 teams because, to forge steel, you need fire. These teams have given us that fire. But now it’s time! It’s time to play 12A out of state teams! Look at our upcoming schedule! In the next two months we will be meeting teams from up to 20 different states. Tournaments in Kansas City, Colorado Fireworks, 12A National Hall-of-Fame, WCWS Triple Crown, and USFA Panama City. When we achieve championship status in these tournaments, we will have our friends from the 95 & 96 Oklahoma teams to thank for it. This is what it's all about so let’s go get it ladies! It’s time! |

May 28 - 31, 2010 ASA 12A Memorial Day Classic 2nd Site Kansas City, MO |
Ladies! You have achieved your first goal of this season. You have won the Kansas City Memorial Day Classic for the 3rd year in a row! That is an absolutely awesome feat! In this tournament only 4 runs were allows and 92 runs were made! The pitching by Bailey and Jayden was fantastic in this performance. So pat yourself's on the back ladies, but don't celebrate too long. Next week we are playing the OKC Triple Crown. Let's do it again. Keep hitting those goals. Awesome job this weekend!... **POOL** ... **BRACKET** |
June 4 - 7, 2010 OKC Triple Crown during Womens College World Series Oklahoma City, OK |
An excellent job by the Stars this 3-day weekend! Teams from 9 different states to play from. These teams have come to play a big tournament while watching the final 8 college teams playoff in the Women's College World Series at the OKC Hall of Fame. On Monday we made it to the championship game in the single elimination playoff! The Mississippi Velocity Gulf Coast is one of the top 12 yr old teams we have faced off with for a while. The Stars went 2-1 for 4 innings until our bats came alive defeating them 9-1. We may see them again in Panama City. Great team and very well coached! Let's look ahead now and get ready for the ASA Hall of Fame Qualifier next week. We will definitely see the best of the best then. BE READY! ... Flash! We asked for more of that action and we got it! Halle Melone pumped a second shot out of the yard this tourney. She has now officially broken an even dozen bats! Good job girl! ... **BRACKET** |
June 11 - 13, 2010 12A ASA Hall of Fame Oklahoma City, OK |
Stars! You met up with some of the best teams in this nation. And they have met up with you! Texas Red Hots, California Breeze, Texas Storm Elite, Texas Fusion, Georgia Worth Cobras and Georgia Impact! To all the teams we played this weekend, we really enjoyed the competition you brought! We wish we could have played all 21 teams that attended and we certainly appreciate you bringing your game. Good luck in Nationals! ... **Order of Finish** |

Winning this State Tournament is icing on the cake. Are you tired yet? Probably not but we are going to rest through the 4th of July weekend.
