1) Tryouts, Teams by division, Selection process:

       1a) Tryouts are held annually each February.

       1b) Teams in age divisions, 16U and 17U 

  1c) All Player’s must show for all try-outs sessions. No player will be add to roster after the teams have been selected regardless of circumstances.

1d) Player selection is by consensus of coaches.

       1e) Troy Cougar Director reserves the right to make final decisions.

1f) Team selections will have no less than 8 per team .

       1g) All divisions will be Grade Based as of September 1st, 2016

2) COACHES FOR THE TROY COUGARS ARE:

       2a) Dedicated

 2b) Coaches (Not the Troy Cougars), select the location and dates of Tournaments.

       2c) Coaches (Not the Troy Cougars) select practice dates, time and sites.  

3) PLAYER PARTICIPATION COSTS:

       3a) Once selected for a team, registration fee is due at the first practice.

       3b) REFUND POLICY: No refunds once paid.

   3c) Room, board & transportation costs at travel tournaments are player’s responsibility.

Players

4) COMMITMENT:

Prior to accepting a roster spot on the team you must:

         4a) Advise your coach of any conflicts: school teams, family events etc.       

4b) Players will only be allowed to be committed to The Troy Cougars Club only exception is if said player is on a school team.

4c) Once selected attendance is expected for all practices, (usually held twice a week).

         4d) Be available for tournaments held on Saturday & Sundays.

5) ACHIEVEMENT:

Challenge yourself by giving 110% effort at all times:

5a) Improve your individual skills,

          5b) Improve your ability to work in a team structure.

          5c) Competing at a higher level against teams outside the Capital District.

6) ENJOYMENT: 

Enjoy the AAU experience by:

          6a) Meeting and making new friends from Capital District area schools.

          6b) Have fun playing a sport that you love.
