90TEN Athletics is on the Cody Bunda Family Farm and is complete with baseball turf, cages, pitching machines, workout area, HitTrax, Rapsodo, and and a cool chilling out area for parents complete with TV so you will not miss your big game over the holidays.

 

For these 2022 TBD Christmas Mini Camps, you will select and bring your own group of 8 players of like and similar age.  Cost for 8 players is only $25 each.  Or you can bring any size group of less than 8, or up to 10 players, with the flat rate of $200 for the whole group.  With questions call: 712-490-7199.

Camp Instructor:

All sessions will be led and instructed by Bob Protexter, Owner and Operator of Total Baseball Development and Head Coach and General Manager of the Iowa Great Lakes "Okobojis" American Legion Baseball Team.  Protexter has been working in baseball for 32 years including coaching internationally for many years all over the world beginning in 1990, coaching as an assistant at Morningside College for eight years, working for six years combined for the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners as an international scout and foreign player liaison, running the Sioux City Saints summer amateur collegiate baseball team for 15 years, and most recently serving as the Head Baseball Coach at GTRA High School in Ruthven, Iowa in the 2021 and 2022 summer seasons.  Protexter's playing days include Sioux City East High School before going on to play at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (NCAA Division I) for two years and three years at Morningside College (NCAA Division II).

Format & Information for Sunday, October 16

 

• All seniors who identified as a YES for wanting to play college baseball have been invited
• Juniors and underclassmen who identified as a YES for wanting to play college baseball will be invited in the case of OPEN spots. (No expansion this year to Saturday, October 15 for an additional day.)
  
• Four teams of 11 will be created from the players accepting the invitation to attend
• Each player will play in at least one session
• All players will run the 60 yard dash prior to their games
• Teams will take a joint infield prior to the start of their game session
• Free substitution on defense
• All 11 players will hit in the lineup
• 25 pitch pitch count per inning.  Innings will roll over after 25.  No relievers.
• Coaches will be provided for the whole day.
• Game will be LIVE STREAMED and will be Archived for later viewing by College Coaches
• $35 only for this workout and showcase and 2022 Top 44 TBD Prime Recruting Event
• Come, play hard, and show your skills

(September 2021) - One Day Better! What a great day on September 25, 2021 at Kenny Bern Field in Cherokee, Iowa when 70 some baseball players came out to work on their game at the TBD Fall League All-Skills Camp that was conducted by Cory Ege and Cody Ege along with fellow Cherokee-ians in Mitch Loucks, Mason Kruger, and Matt Pitts! A great baseball crew lead by the Ege brothers. Very awesome how they convey their championship and world-wide baseball traveling experiences to our young players here in northwest Iowa. • INFORMATION: Total Baseball Development is hosting a Baseball Camp that is FREE to all 2022 TBD fall players!
• LEAD INSTRUCTORS: Cory Ege, former NCAA Division I shortstop and younger brother Cody Ege, former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher.
• CORY EGE BIO: Cory was a shortstop at NCAA Division I University of Northern Iowa until they dropped their program at which time he transferred to NCAA Division I Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
  
• CODY EGE BIO: Cody was a left-handed pitcher at NCAA Division I University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.  (SEE YOUTUBE VIDEO ABOVE FROM HIS TRIP TO THE COLLEGE WORLD SERIES!) Cody was selected in the 2013 Major League Baseball amateur Draft by the Texas Rangers in the 15th Round. Cody was traded to the Miami Marlins and his MLB debut came on April 23, 2016 with the Miami Marlins.  Cody moved to the Los Angeles Angels in mid season of 2016 and finished the year with the Angels.
