LEAGUE CHAMPS! The varsity girls just completed league play and brought home their third straight Tri River Athletic Conference championship. The girls also extended their league win streak to 34 games.
Even more impressive, is the sweep of championships between all levels. Both the JV and Freshmen teams won League Titles as well this season.

ALL STAR FIRST! |
For the first time in City/County All Star history...four players were selected from one school! Seniors Blakely Goldberg, Ashley Orlich, Blaire Caeton, and Christine Dela Rosa helped lead the City All Star Team to victory. Congratulations girls! |

CLOVIS WEST SWEEPS
RENO BASKETBALL FESTIVAL |

Congratulations to our 4 teams that travelled to Reno this past weekend and their amazing finishes!
In the JV division, our CW Gold team finished 3rd after an impressive come from behind win in which the girls trailed 12-0 to start the 3rd place game before going on to beat Carson HS by 5 points!
In the JV championship, our CW Cardinal team proved to be too much as the won the title convincingly over Yosemite by almost 30 points. In the D-2 championship game, our CW White team poured it on against Bret Harte HS with a 20 point win to bring home the 2nd of two titles. They also survived a hard fought semi final game against Sierra HS.
And in the top division, our CW Black team took on a talented Reno HS team. Both teams had ran through the competition setting up an intriguing championship game. After trailing by 3 at half time, Eagle Pride took over as our girls locked down defensively and outscored Reno 33-13 in the second half for our 3rd convincing championship of the tournament. With 35 teams and 3 divisions, we are extremely proud of all of our girls to win ALL THREE DIVISIONS and add on a 3rd place finish with our youngest team! Great job girls! |

Great showing by Clovis West in our Tournament this weekend! The Varsity Black team won the championship and the Varsity White team finished 6th out of 20 teams. |

Congratulations to our Varsity girls! They finished 2nd in their pool in Chicago and finished 4-1 overall. Great trip highlighted by the Shanghai Cirque, Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, the Chicago Bulls practice facility, downtown Chicago and lots of great food! This was a great experience for our girls and great exposure on the court as over 400 college coaches attended the tournament. NEW PICTURES IN THE PHOTO ALBUM UNDER THE CHICAGO TAB.
